I ordered a wooden toy from Hape for my kid, and overall I’m happy with it. The quality feels solid, it seems safe, and I really appreciate that there’s no cheap plastic smell or anything like that.
The only thing is that, for the price, I was expecting just a little bit more. Shipping was fine, though not especially quick. It’s definitely a nice brand, but I’d probably be more likely to buy again if there was a sale or discount

Putting this together definitely took longer than I expected. The instructions could’ve been clearer, and a few parts didn’t seem to line up right at first, which got frustrating. That said, once I slowed down and figured it out, it came together okay in the end.

I was disappointed with this toy, it only lasted about a week before it broke. The paint started chipping really fast too, I don’t think it was worth the money.

I was disappointed with this toy. The wood felt rough in a few spots, and the paint started scratching off after just a few days of use. I expected better quality from Hape. It feels like it wont hold up very long, which is frustrating considering the price.

Overall, it looks mostly like the pictures, which I was happy about. I did notice the colors were a little different than I expected, and I kept comparing the shades in different lighting to figure out if it was just my room or the product itself. Not a huge issue, but worth mentioning if you're picky about color matching

I do really like the cute, simple look of Hape toys. They always look so nice and clean in photos, which is part of why I was drawn to them. In person, a few of them do feel a bit plain, though. They’re definitely not bad at all, just not super exciting either.

Customer service was decent enough, once they finally got around to me. I had to wait a few days for a reply and explain the same issue twice, which wasn’t exactly ideal. To their credit, they did manage to fix it in the end, so I guess it worked out. Not the smoothest experience, but not a total mess either.

I expected better from this. After only about a week, the wood started splitting, and it just feels cheap and rough to the touch. The way it was presented made it seem like it would be sturdier, so I feel misled. Definitely not impressed.

I ordered a replacement piece for my kid’s Hape toy after one little part went missing. Ordering it on the site was fine, no real issue there.

After that, it just dragged. Updates were slow, and the part showed up later than I thought it would. Customer service did answer, but not super helpfully.

The piece fits, so at least that worked out. Still, for one small replacement part, it felt like more trouble than it needed to be

I really wanted to like this, but after letting my toddler play with it for a bit, I noticed a few pieces felt way too easy to pull loose. That immediately made me uncomfortable, so I took it away and stopped using it. I ended up reaching out to customer service because it felt like more than just a minor issue. When it comes to something my little one is handling, I’m not willing to take chances. Just not worth the stress.

My kid has been really into this and it actually kept them occupied longer than I expected, which is always a win. There’s good play value and it feels like something they’ll come back to. Okay, sudden complaint: the price made me blink a little. Still, overall I’m happy with it.

I picked up a couple of these toys for my 3-year-old, and overall they’re decent. Some of them are actually great for counting and problem solving, and he’ll sit and play with them for a while, which is always a win lol. A few others felt a little too basic for what they cost, though. The educational value is definitely there, just not every toy feels like a must-have imo.

I ordered a small toy from hape.com, and when it arrived the shipping box was crushed on two corners. There was barely any padding inside either, so the product box was just kind of sliding around loose.
Luckily the toy itself was okay, but the whole thing looked like it had been packed in a rush. For a kids item, I expected it to be a little more secure and cared for.

I emailed them about it, but the reply was super basic, and then the email seemed to say something a little different than what I was asking about, which just made it more confusing. I probably wouldn’t order direct again unless they improve the packaging.

I bought this from Hape thinking it’d be a more sustainable pick, but the packaging still felt kinda wasteful. I also couldn’t find much clear info about the materials, which was a bit dissapointing. Just didn’t really match the eco-friendly vibe I had in mind.

I wouldn’t pick this as a gift again. It just didn’t feel like something that would make a good impression, and the whole experience was made more annoying by the constant aggressive reminders. They kept pushing way too much, which made it feel more frustrating than helpful.
